Brief Description
(a) Minutes from the first meeting of the Parish Camp Committee, Napier West Presbyterian Parish, signed by D W Hodder. This meeting took place on 13 November 1977. There is one master copy of these minutes, 5 copies and one copy of the first page only.
(b) Handwritten notes from the first meeting of the Parish Camp Committee 1978, Napier West Presbyterian Parish. This meeting took place on 13 November 1977. These notes include an address list of committee members, minutes and a copy of a letter to the Hastings YMCA regarding the use of Camp Opoutama as a venue for the camp. The letter is dated 14 November 1977 and is signed by David Hodder on behalf of the Camp Committee.
(c) Minutes from the second meeting of the Parish Camp Committee 1978, Napier West Presbyterian Parish, signed by D W Hodder. This meeting took place on 5 February 1978. In this meeting it was agreed that the camp be held the weekend of 28 - 30 April 1978 at the Riverbend Christian Centre, Havelock North. Other general matters were discussed.
(d) Minutes from the third meeting of the Parish Camp Committee 1978. The meeting took place on 19 February 1978. The minutes are signed by D W Hodder.
(e) Handwritten notes from the fourth meeting of the Parish Camp Committee 1978. The meeting took place on 14 March 1978.
(f) Notes for Camp Officials. This document records the planning of meetings to be held on Wednesday 19 April and Sunday 23 April 1978.
(g) List of camp officials and allocated duties for the Napier West Parish Camp, 28 - 30 April 1978.
(h) Minutes from the fifth meeting of the Parish Camp Committee 1978. The meeting took place on 19 April 1978. These minutes include reports on finance, accommodation and transport, cooks and meals, and the book corner. Duties are also allocated to committee members. There is a duplicate copy of these minutes.
(i) Handwritten notes from the meeting of the Parish Camp Committee 1978 that took place on 19 April 1978.
(j) Agenda for the Parish Camp Committee meeting that took place on 23 April 1978. There is a duplicate copy of this Agenda.

These documents include an undated meeting agenda; planning for children's activities; things-to-do lists; lists of Hillsbrook children nominated to attend the camp and the families accommodating them.

(p) Letter from Riverbend Christian Centre to S B Darling, dated 11 February 1978. This letter acknowledges the receipt of an official application to use the Riverbend Christian Centre as the venue for the Napier West Parish Camp.
(q) Letter from Riverbend Christian Centre to S B Darling, dated 2 March 1978. This letter confirms the use of the Centre from 28 - 30 April 1978 by the Napier West Parish Camp.
(r) Draft letter from Napier West Presbyterian Parish to D Lange. This letter extends an invitation to D Lange and his family to attend and act as the gust speaker for the 1978 parish camp.
