Brief Description
(a) Minutes from the Napier West Parish Camp Committee inaugural meeting held on 4 November 1976. In this meeting committee members were allocated jobs and decisions were made regarding fees, transport by bus, registration, child supervision and the theme for the camp.

(b) Minutes from a Napier West Parish Camp Committee meeting. The following business was discussed: transport and cost of hiring a bus; camp parents; food suppliers; travel insurance; number of campers; first aid; camp commandant; music; guest speaker and programme.

(c) Agenda and list of Parish Camp Committee members for the Napier West Parish Camp, YMCA, Opoutama, 18 - 20 February 1977. Listed on the reverse are recommendations from the 1976 Camp Evaluation.

(d) Leaflet for the Hastings YMCA, Camp Opoutama. This document includes information on the location, accommodation, facilities, hire fee, camp rules and how to make enquiries. It also includes black and white images of the camp.

(e) Photocopy of three articles from the magazine, On The Move. The first article, Family Life Education: A Summer Programme by Alastair Harray, presents the programme of three parish family days held by the St Columbia Parish, Tauranga. In the second article, Discovering for themselves, Doug Purnell looks at a series of study activities for children that were part of the programme at a family camp arranged by the Church of All Nations, Carlton, Victoria. The last article, Family Loyalties by John Watt, describes an activity about cross-generational understanding carried out with the participation of a parish congregation .

(f) Information sheet for the Napier West Parish Camp, 18 - 20 February 1977. This document includes information on the theme of the camp, when and where it was taking place, who could attend, accommodation, cost, what to bring and how to enrol.

(s) Manuscript with notes regarding camp accommodation, boy's brigade and girl's brigade. These notes are written on the reverse side of a poster for the Hawke's Bay Presbyterian Ball, 1977.
