Brief Description
(a) Minute book for the Church and Community Committee and Outreach Committee of St Peter's, Napier West and St Stephen's Presbyterian Church. Entries are dated from 9 May 1974 to 2006. The last formal meeting, however, was held on 28 February 2003. Following these minutes is a summary written by Ella Haigh detailing the activities carried out by the Fellowship and Outreach Committee between 1994 and 2005. This document states that St Stephen's ceased to exist as a separate parish and merged with St Paul's on 5 February 2006.
The book also includes minutes from Napier West Parish Council meetings from 1974 to 1976, lists of members, newspaper cuttings, accounts for the Laotian Family Fund, correspondence, and advertisements for Live Aloners' Dinners.
Within the pages of the minute book are the following loose documents:
(b) Errata issued by St Stephen's Parish concerning the names of two members of Parish Council who were omitted from the October list. The errata is dated 8 November 1992.
(c) Six copies of minutes from a meeting dated 25 October 1983. The meeting was to evaluate and review the Friendship Visiting Programme.
(d) Newspaper cutting regarding the Juvenile Crime Task Force. This article relates to the minutes from the Fellowship and Outreach Committee meeting held on 5 October 1989.
At the back of the book are the following two loose documents:
(e) Minutes from Church and Community Committee meetings held between 2 June 1977 and 29 August 1978.
(f) Minutes of meetings held on 28 September and 12 October 1978.

(a) The cover is made of hard cardboard with a red covering and red cloth spine. A white paper label is glued to the front cover with text handwritten in black ink. The name of the Committee is also handwritten in black ink directly onto the front cover. The pages are pale blue and lined with entries handwritten in blue or black ink. A number of entries are also printed in black ink on paper and stapled to the pages of the book.
