Map of the subdivision of portion of the famous Te Mahanga Estate, Hawke's Bay.
On account of Messrs W J & A F Douglas comprising 3,500 acres to be sold at auction by N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd in the Princess Theatre, Hastings on Tuesday 15 October 1912. Day before H.B.A. and P. Society's Spring Show. This country lies to the south of the old Homestead distant about a mile from Poukawa Railway Station and comprise those beautiful flats and downs bordering and overlooking Poukawa Lake. The Eastern sections have frontages on to the Middle or Patangata Road.
There are photographs with make - some of the Clydsdale Mares; mustering across flats on number 1; view looking across flats 1, 2 and 3 with Poukawa Lake in the distance.Tuki Tuki River acts as a part boundary; Poukawa Swamp and Stream acts as other part boundaries. Lot 9 is offered on account of J F Kelly - bounded by the Paki Paki Railway line.
