Brief Description
Map of the subdivision of portion of the famous Te Mahanga Estate, Hawke's Bay.
On account of Messrs W J & A F Douglas comprising 2,200 acres to be sold at auction by N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd in the King's Theatre, Hastings on Wednesday 17 December 1913.
This country lies to the north of the old homestead, distant about three miles from Paki Paki Railway Station and 8 miles from Hastings by good metalled road and comprise those beautiful flats and downs fronting the middle of Patangata Road. The land is bounded by property owned by W J & A F Douglas, F H Roach, W A Couper, W J Hill; W J & A F Douglas. The Tuki Tuki River is along one boundary; and the Waikaha Stream along another. With the map is a typed letter dated 17 December 1913 regarding purchasers of the land.
