Brief Description
Map of the Wai Estate, Nuhaka. The map was printed in association with a public auction held by C B Hoadley and Son Limited on behalf of G C Ormond and E J Dickin, Trustees of Mr George Walker, at their rooms Browning Street, Napier, on Thursday 28 March 1907. The Wai Estate consists of three properties that are worked as a hole. The sites consist of 3661 acres, 2263 acres, and 640 acres respectively. The property is bounded by the Nuhaka River and road to Wairoa (22 miles), Gisborne (35 miles), the sea, and Crown land. The Waimaune River flows through the property. There is also a cemetery within the boundary. Attached to the map is a written statement showing unsold sections.
