Brief Description
Map of Gisborne. Plan of part sections Whataupoko number 4 and lots from Gisborne Extension number 28. The map was printed in association with a public auction held by Williams and Kettle Limited on behalf of the owner, C Matthews, at Miller's Auction Mart, Lowe St, Gisborne, on Saturday 21 March 1914 at 11.30 am. The sites include Gisborne's Sanatorium, Hospital Hill. Almost adjoining Mangapapa School. The map includes a photograph from the area showing the view. The land is bounded by: Mr F P Muir's property; Hospital; Mr W Bruce's property; and Mrs Donner's property. Roads shown are Hospital and Ormond Roads, Patiti, Oswald and Perry Streets.
