Brief Description
Map of Petane. This map was printed in association with a public auction held on behalf of the estate of the late James Marshall at the Browning Street Sale Rooms, Napier, on Saturday 12 April 1919 at 11 am. The various farms are situated in the Petane District, near the townships of Petane and Eskdale. Lot 1 is bounded by the Esk River and land owned by Thomas Clark and F Lopdell. The Napier - Taupo Road runs through the property. Lots 4 - 7 are bounded by the Esk River and land owned by Thomas Clark and C Ruddenklau. The Napier - Taupo Road runs through the property. Lots 9 - 11 are bounded by the Inner Harbour and land owned by F Lopdell and J Withal. Lot 8 is bounded by land owned by P Patullo. The Wharerangi - Napier Road runs through part of land.
