About this object
Kiwis can fly. Passersbys can be forgiven for looking twice at the hot air balloon floating above East Pier this week.
The Kiwi shaped balloon was made in England for Enza, the trading name for the Apple and Pear Marketing Board, and is the only special-shaped balloon in New Zealand.
Photograph taken 26 October 1993 and published in the newspaper on 27 October 1993.
