About this object
Squash into seventies, Bert White, left, and Ash Andrew. Tell Napier Pensioners Bert White and Ash Andrew that squash is a game for the young and fit and you’ll get more than a dirty look – they’ll challenge you to a game.
Andrew, 72, the country’s oldest competitive player and White, 70, the longest-serving player at Napier’s Hawke’s Bay club, play at least twice a week. And for the second consecutive year they met in the first round of the club’s masters club championships’ over-50s section last night.
