About this object
Tattoo Success. Nearly 5000 people visited Napier’s McLean Park on Saturday for the Charity Tattoo. The tattoo, an ancient celebration based on military music, featured items associated with Scotland, such as highland dancing, highland games and the piping in of the haggis.
Pictured are Napier five-year-olds Abby Mitchell on the left and Monica McAulay, two of the youngest participants in the massed Highland fling, which featured dancers from Napier, Hastings and Waipawa.
