Brief Description
Map of Piripiri Block, Norsewood Survey District, Hawke's Bay Land District number 234. Rural lands for selection on the optional system, 5,080 acres 3 roods 38 perches. Applications received at the District Lands Office, Napier and at the Drill-Hall, Dannevirke, on Tuesday 29 December 1908. The Piripiri Block adjoins the Piripiri and Matamau Railway Stations on the Wellington - Napier Railway line, two miles from Dannevirke and seventy seven miles from Napier. The map shows the village of Matamau, a railway line, number 1 and number 2 Mills George Bartholomew and Company, Anderson and Company Sawmill, and Raumati Settlement. Locality plan.
