Brief Description
Map of Mangatu numbers 3 and 4 Poverty Bay District. The map was printed in association with a public auction of leaseholds held by Messrs Williams and Kettle Limited on 26 January 1901. The site is bounded by: the Motu River; Kaitaura Stream; Mangatu number 1 and number 3; Education Reserve; and land owned by Messrs Campbell and Hayes. The eastern portion of Mangatu number 3 is about 7 miles west of Whatatutu, which is about 28 miles from Gisborne. Locality plan.
