Brief Description
Map of Ohuka Settlement. Locality plan. Lands for sale or lease to discharged soldiers, 16,617 acres. Applications received at District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, Tuesday 1 June 1920. Wairoa County - Taramarama Survey District. First and second class land. Ohuka Settlement is situated on the Waikaremoana Road, about 17 miles from Frasertown and 22 miles from the Port of Wairoa. Land is bounded by property owned by H D Jeffrey, E I J Williams and W H Williams, J L Blundell, Mrs E Gray, and Thomas Pepper, and leased by W G Couper, D Couper and W E L Smith, R Hunt, and H A Neale.
