Brief Description
Map of Tahoraite Survey District and Tiratu Block. Locality plan. Land for sale or lease to discharged soldiers, 5,619 acres. Applications received at District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, on Saturday 23 August 1919. Tiratu Block, three and a half miles from Dannevirke. The properties are bound by land owned by J R Crallan, G Wratt, D Peck, T Cotter, S Walker, Māori Land, A E Peters, Alex McLean, Maude Scott, Elizabeth Hart, C Braddick, William McNamara, A McKenzie, and R Stephenson. Land is bounded on one side by the Manawatu River. There is a little diagram showing Gundason's Homestead; Kingston's home; and old mill huts.
