Brief Description
Map of Kuripapanga [Kuripapango] and Waitara Survey Districts. Pastoral runs for license - 35,435 acres. Locality plan. The map was printed in association with a public auction held at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, on Thursday 8 March 1923. There are four pastoral runs shown:
Pastoral Run number 20: Kuripapanga Survey District - nine miles from Willowford and 42 miles from Napier. One mile from Kuripapanga Post Office. Property bounded by land owned and leased by L C Lopdell, A M Shield, and Duncan and Sanderson. The Ngarouroro River runs down one side.
Pastoral Run number 24: Waitara Survey District. 47 miles from Napier and 19 miles from Te Pohue. Land bounded by property owned by O P Gallien, D and J Ross, J Heays, and W Heays. The Mohaka River runs along part of the property.
Pastoral Run number 3: Waitara Survey District. Fronts Mohaka River, 49 miles from Napier via Titiokura Saddle. Land bounded by property owned by J King, T King, and O P Gallien.
Pastoral Run number 23: Kuripapanga and Ngaruroro Survey Districts. Kuripapanga Hotel is at one end and is 45 miles to Napier. Bounded by Ngaruroro River and Taruarau Stream.
