Brief Description
Map of Hawke's Bay Land District No 426 - Puketapu, Moeangiangi and Tarawera Survey Districts. Rural lands for selection and pastoral run for license. The map was printed in association with a request for interested parties to contact the Department of Lands and Survey Office, Napier, by Tuesday 10 July 1928. The sites are:
Puketapu Survey district - second-class land; situated nine miles from Bay View Railway Station and 17 miles from Napier. Bounded by land owned by H J Hyde, F Lee, M Mathewson, H E Beattie, J McGregor and Scenic Reserve.
Moeangiangi Survey District - second-class land; situated 5 miles from Waikare (Putorino) Post-office and school. Bounded by land owned by W J Riddell and O H Orr.
Tarawera Survey district - third-class land, situated 48 miles from Napier - the main Napier Taupo road traverses the entire length of the run from south to north.
Plan No 6817 has a 1d stamp on it and is addressed to Williams and Kettle Limited, On His Majesty's Service.
