Brief Description
Map of sub-division of Nikau Farm. Prepared in association with an auction held by Dalgety and Company Limited, Auctioneers, on behalf of E P Williams at Everybody's Theatre, Wairoa on Saturday 4 September 1920 at 10.30 am. The map shows a locality plan. The site is bounded by Wairoa-Waikokopu railway and property owned by E P Williams, A McCorkindale, P Watson and S Crarer. The Ohuia Flax Mill Company is shown. The main Wairoa, Nuhaka, Gisborne road cuts through the property. On the northern end is the Waiatai Road. Handwritten in red ink are possible purchasers: A McCorkindale, T F Bradley and S Hagen. The property is situated 3 miles from Wairoa Freezing Works, Dairy Factory, and proposed Railway Station and four miles from Wairoa township. The Waikokopu-Wairoa railway is under construction.
