About this object
Stirring Ceremony. A major figure in the development of the Waiohiki Conservation Corps, Hans-Hasso Weichbrodt, was given New Zealand citizenship yesterday in a ceremony which saw him honoured with a haka by corps members and supporters. Dr Weichbrodt pictured right was joined by the kuia of the marae, Miria Hadfield, and the Mayor of Napier, Alan Dick.
