Māori Lands for sale by public auction. 3207 acres 3 roods 6 perches. By public auction in three lots by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company at Wairoa at 2 p.m. on Thursday 25 January 1912. John MacKay, Government Printer. Bounded by the sea; the Waipapa block Native owners: Mohaka block; land leased to Mrs Glendenning by Native owners. The Waihua blocks are situated in the Wairoa County, Hawke's Bay. The main Wairoa-Mohaka-Napier coach Road runs through the sections. It is also expected that the route of the Napier-Gisborne-East Coast Railway will be in close proximity. Until 1912 these blocks had been used by Mrs Glendenning as a sheep-station. The sections are about 15 miles from Wairoa and about 2 and a half miles from Mohaka. It is signed by R N Jones, President of Tairawhiti District Māori Land Board. There is also a plan of locality pictured.
