Brief Description
Map, Eskdale Farms. Prepared in association with a public auction held by Messrs Williams and Kettle Limited in conjunction with Hoadley, Son and Stewart Limited, Auctioneers, on behalf of Mrs C I Brewster. The map records that the auction is to be held at the Browning Street, Napier salerooms on Thursday 13 December 1928 at 2 pm. The site is bounded by the Esk River and Petane River. H Wilson and John Bruce own the properties adjoining the farm. Lot 4 has a 9 roomed cottage, stables, barns and implement shed. The Eskdale cemetery is also part of the property. Plan No: 6750 has writing in pencil as well as typed information.
