Wine An Art For Institute Members. Institute of Masters of Wine chairperson Kenneth Christie has been an MW since 1969. In the wine he holds, an unreleased chardonnay from Taradale's McDonald Winery, he can detect among other things grapefruit flavours, high alcohol, its fermentation method and, he says, good prospects for critical acclaim.
