The first meeting of the Garden Circle was held on Monday 13 August 1928. The last entry states: Earthquake February 3rd 1931. The members visited many of Hawke's Bay's beautiful homesteads and gardens, including those belonging to Mrs Mason Chambers and Mrs Kinross White.
