Studies Block Fills Tough Design Order. The Hawke's Bay Polytechnic's new Nursing and Health Studies block is the favourite building chosen by James Jack this week's participant in an ongoing series on prominent Hawke's Bay architects and their works. Mr Jack is a partner in Hastings-based firm Holland and Jack Architects. The northern and western side of the square-shaped Nursing and Health Studies building are two-storey to gain maximum benefit from the sun.
