Brief Description
A diary written by William Colenso.

On the inside front cover is written: This book was presented to William Colenso (on his leaving Cornwall for London) by R D Rodda, October 1833. Began as a journal, by William Colenso, January 1 1834.

It is actually a printed diary for 1832, which Colenso has used as his 1834 diary. He has crossed out the days and written in the changes. The diary contains mainly theological musings.

At the back of the diary is a printed directory, including a list of Public Institution and Offices; Assessed Taxes; Commercial and Law Stamps; Probates of Wills; Holidays; Bankers of London; East India Directors; Bank Directors; General Post Office; Twopenny Post Office; Mail Coach Routes direct from London; Hackney Coach and Cabriolet Fares; Fire Offices; Summary of Proceedings in Parliament; and Terms and Returns for 1832 and Miscellaneous Information.
