Life-saving transfusion has tragic twist for Grant - For Grant Nelson, the main change in his life since he was diagnosed with Hepatitis C are the shots of Interferon which he takes three times weekly. Interferon halts the disease in a percentage of sufferers but it can cause side effects, such as dizziness, vomiting, nausea and weight loss. Grant is pictured injecting a syringe into his skin.
