Glimpse into the Past. Hawke's Bay Museum honorary curator of textiles Joan Maclaurin is surrounded by historic religious items. The bible she is holding dates back to 1895 and the embroidered dalmatic is also from the 19th century. Exhibition held by the Taradale Potters Group in St Mary's Church, Meeanee Road. Greenmeadow's Mission Trust Board member Beverley Doohan comments that it is a fine display of church embroidery.
