About this object
Mind your step. Work has begun on a major upgrading of the steps between May Avenue and Faraday Street, Napier. A Napier City Council spokesman said there had been no structural maintenance of the steps for a long time and they had become dangerous. The steps are closed until the work is completed. Pictured is the view looking down towards the road and houses on Faraday Street.
