About this object
Wider road on way - WORK ON WIDENING a dangerous section of Napier's Chambers Street 450 metres from Geddis Avenue, began this week. The road along from Napier Boys' High School is being widened to 11.4 metres, which will include cycle lanes. Power poles will be moved and drainage improved at a cost of about $32, 000. The work is expected to take only a few days, depending on weather.
