Down to Work - Tuck Contractors excavator driver Paul Atkins stands in the rubble of the culverts on Avenue Road. Contractors are lowering Greenmeadows' Avenue Road as part of major road construction between Gloucester Street and Avondale Road. The $320,000 work, due to finish early next month, also involves laying deeper culverts beneath the new road. Rebuilding started last month.
