About this object
For the vote - The trials and tribulations of women in New Zealand fighting for the vote 100 years ago was told by members of Presbyterian Women in Hawke's Bay at Saint Columbas' Church in Taradale yesterday. Prominent suffragette Kate Milligan Edger, played by association vice-president Hellen Eyles, tells the story of the women's franchise movement to Ted Mead, one of the two men in the play.
