About this object
Digging In - The first phase of a beautification scheme for the Ahuriri Estuary began yesterday with the planting of 400 native trees. Pictured at the tree planting are Napier Tanning Company manager John Livingstone and Isabel Morgan of the Forest and Bird Protection Society. Conservation Corps workers also participated in the planting.
