Brief Description
Official programme for the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club for the Metropolitan Summer meeting held on Friday 26 December 1890.
On the front is printed the names of the President, Treasurer, stewards, handicapper, Clerk of the Course, Clerk of the Totalisators, Timekeeper and Secretary. The contents include the pedigrees of the horses engaged at the meeting, the title of each race with the names of the owners and the horses which are to compete. On the back cover is a programme of music to be performed at the meeting by the Garrison Band, Bandmaster Fred Tankard.
