a) St Paul's Presbyterian Church Marriage Register dated 10 February 1895 to 27 October 1897.
Each entry records the date and place of marriage, name, age, profession, condition, birthplace, residence and parents' names of the bride and bridegroom. Each entry is signed by the officiating minister, witnesses and the married couple under the Marriage Act 1880.
The officiating minister is listed as James Paterson.
b) Marriage Certificate for William James Cleeve and Mary Grant Gregory.
This certificate is addressed to Reverend James Paterson, Officiating Minister, and was issued on 6 October 1896 by S J Jago, Registrar of Marriages for the district of Napier. The marriage between William James Cleeve and Mary Grant Gregory is registered in the aforementioned Marriage Register.
