Brief Description
A cardboard folder issued with attached soldier's pay book.
The booklet contains sections on instructions to soldiers, personal information regarding Private Hedley George Harvey, wages, promotions and their effective dates and next of kin. On the pocket is a form titled: Training Card which was used to note when the solider passed various tests end trainings, dated and signed by the officer in charge as well as space for remarks.
There is a page for a Will which has been extended with handwritten notes and dated 24 April 1918. There are notes on his inoculation dates inside the back cover.
This book was opened on 19 September 1916. The first entry is for 30 September 1916. The last entry is on 5 September 1918.
