Brief Description
Rationing order pass containing leave or duty ration book, soldier or sailor. Dated on the front with New Zealand Expeditionary Force 25 April 1919.
The inside cover has the instructions to holder, while the first page is a counterfoil that is to be filled in by the holder, but also removed before use. There is one page of ration coupons for: sugar, meat, cheese, tea, butter, lard, jam and spares. On the back of the spares are instructions for using them for medical assistance.
Inside the back cover are details instructions on getting medical assistance using the ration coupons. The outside of the back cover has instructions to the seller.
