One deck and a breck, three masts, rigged schooner; propelled by sails; the head is a shield. Measured: 126 feet in length; 25 feet in breadth; weighted 191.48 tons. Built 1875.

1. Certificate of ownership: owner John Orr of Napier, merchant. Jacob Peter Balle is the master. Dated 25 July 1885.
2. Transcript of register for transmission: Registered in 1875, Sydney. Built by Francis Guy of Bateman's Bay in Sydney, 1875. Owners: Farquhar Scott. Attached to this certificate are notes for deduction for crewspace.
3. Declaration of ownership by individual: owner John Helier Vautier, merchant. Jacob Peter Balle is the master of the ship. 29 June 1881.
4. Declaration of ownership: Hector Macquarrie of Auckland and M McDonald is the master. 11 July 1888.
