Photograph of the contingent at the railway gates, farewell to the troops at Lyttleton, Lt Colonel Slater - V D, Mr G G Stead - Executive committee, Mr W Reece - Executive Committee and F H Labatt - Enrolling Secretary. Also photograph of the officers and men of No 1 and No 2 Company and a list of officers and troopers of the Rough Riders Contingent. Has a Hawke's Bay section.
