- Various photographs of the troops' barracks, the contingent embarking on the Knight Templar - ship, photographs of Captain Clayton Rose, Lieutenant Bourn, Bradburne, Tucker, Cameron and Major Jowsey. Photograph of the contingent at the railway gates, farewell to the troops at Lyttleton, Lt Colonel Slater - V D, Mr G G Stead - Executive committee, Mr W Reece - Executive Committee and F H Labatt - Enrolling Secretary. Also photograph of the officers and men of No 1 and No 2 Company and a list of officers and troopers of the Rough Riders Contingent. Has a Hawke's Bay section.
