Registration papers, Success & Spray.

Success: Built at Omah, Auckland. 1863. Schooner. Built by James Strange Meiklejohn of Omah, boat builder. Length: 70 feet; Breadth: 18 feet; Depth: 6 feet.

1. Declaration of ownership - John Gibson Kinross of Napier. John Trimmer master of the ship. 31 August 1867.

2. Declaration of ownership - James Gillespie Gordon of Clifton, sheepfarmer. George Frost is master of the ship. 14 June 1866.

3. Declaration of ownership - John Nathaniel Wilson of Napier. George Frost is master of the ship. 12 May 1866.

4. Bill of sale. Purchased from William Mieklejohn of Auckland by Samuel Begg and John Gibson Kinross both of Napier, merchants and James Gillespie Gordon of Clifton.

5. Letter to Superior Court of Bankruptcy - from John Gibson Kinross. Petition to be adjudged a bankrupt, merchant trading under Kinross & Co. 3 January 1888.

6. Application for transfer of Registry of ship from George Henry Short, owner of Success. 4 October 1870.
