Registration papers, Karaihi and Three Sisters.

Four manuscripts attached together: No 37/111

1. Certificate of Survey for the sailing ship Karaihi. Name and address of builder: F Read, Big River, Poverty Bay. Registered 23 June 1876.

2. Letter dated 21 April 1876 - permission granted for Three Sisters built at Pakurikiri (Big River) to proceed to Napier in charge of Tamihana.

3. Official measurements of the Karaihe, cutter. 21 June 1876.

4. Declaration of Ownership, 23 June 1876. Three Sisters; Port of Registration - Napier; Propelled by sails; Owned by Wi Napai of Mahia. Signed by J M Tabuteau. Built by F Read, Big River.

The Three Sisters and the Karaihe are possibly the same vessel.
