Memorandum of Agreement between Henry Williams and James Gatland Gilberd.

It reads: Memorandum of Agreement between Henry Williams and James Gatland Gilberd who hereby respectively agree to become partners in the business heretofore carried on by Bogle Simmonds & Co, the said Henry Williams taking the interests of William Bogle and Charles Simmonds and all rights of account and other privileges heretofore enjoyed by the said William Bogle and Charles Simmonds.

Deed made 11 December 1889 between William Bogle and Charles Simmonds of Napier (Bogle and Simmonds) ironfounders and James Gatland Gilberd, cordial manufacturer and Henry Williams, ironmonger.
