Brief Description
The book titled: Twelve Years in Canterbury, New Zealand, with visits to the other provinces, and reminiscences of the route home through Australia was written by Mrs Charles Thomson, 1867.

A description of travel in New Zealand in the early 1860s. The author then travelled to Auckland and from there travelled to Australia and Marseilles. There is very little information given of her sojourn in Canterbury.
