Brief Description
A full set of news bulletins issued by the Daily Telegraph newspapers with the co-operation of Messrs Ball and Company produced during the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake. Dated 4 February, 5 February, 6 February, 7 February, 9 February, 10 February, 11 February and 13 February.

The bulletins include: reports about the earthquake; lists of the fatalities; injuries and unidentified bodies; earthquake relief; information from the Executive Committee; information on those injured and killed at Hastings and Waipukurau; sea transportation; health notices; damaged and destroyed buildings and infrastructure; fire and looting warnings; geologists reports; calls for assistance from able-bodied men; common grave burials; general business information; and reports of further damage from subsequent earthquakes.
