The New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association, Hawke's Bay Centre certificate was awarded to Vida J Edser of the Te Awa Surf Life Saving Club, at Napier on 2 March 1926. Vida swam in the Ladies 220 yards race. She swam it in 3 minutes 8 seconds and her performance was registered as a Hawke's Bay provincial record.
