Brief Description
Journal entitled: Book of the C1 Camp. Edited by H Hector Bolitho.

The journal contains stories, photos, drawings, jokes, and poems made by C1 Camp, or Tauherenikau Military Camp, soldiers. Many of the joke articles are signed: Philistine.

Journal begins with an explanation of what C1 means, along with all the other categories that new recruits could be put in and is then followed by a history of, and the goals for, the camp.

In the back are advertisements for: Havelock Tobacco and Glaxo Pure Milk Food.
