About this object
Ambrotype of an unidentified young woman. A hand-painted vine surrounds her and she is holding a hand painted wreath. She is wearing a purple or brown dress with a brooch pinned to her collar. Bricks have been painted in the background. The ambrotype is in a mustard yellow velvet frame.

A large yellow label is glued on the back of the ambrotype with 'Tyree Galleries, Nelson, Wanganui, Hokitika, Westport, Reefton' printed on it.
