Letter from Her Royal Highness Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone to Arthur Whitaker:
a) Handwritten letter on Henry III Tower Windsor Castle letterhead. A letter in reply of Mr Whitaker sending Princess Alice an amusing story from a newspaper and news of his health, and she talks about an occasion when 3700 people were entertained at the castle. The inference from the letter is that these were soldiers who were ill. It is signed: Alice.
