Brief Description
Correspondence related to Leo Bestall.

a) A letter on grid paper, handwritten in French, dated 16 July 1918, signed Suzanne Lefort. The recipient is unknown, only that is was a woman as indicated by the greeting of: Chere Madame.

b) There are 30 pages of notes titled: Suggestions, probably in relation to Tea and Biscuits from an unknown sender. Handwritten in green ink.

c) A series of letters from or articles relating to Mrs R L Devonshire have been collected together in a brown paper folder which is titled: Mrs R L Devonshire, Letters & Articles. These date from 8 September 1944 to 1949.

d) A letter dated 2 November from a close friend of Mrs Devonshire's, E Laccour who took over her tours around Cairo after her death.

e) Bestall's reply dated 29 November 1949.
