A leather wallet for holding notes and papers which belonged to Leo Bestall.
Stamped on lower right corner is: G A W, which has been crossed out. A curvilinear shape has been cut out of the leather at the opening presumably for ease of access to the paper that would have been contained within it. Made visible from the alteration is L D Bestall handwritten in ink.
