a) Identification badge entitled: 3/2088, Private Leo D Bestall, A Section, number 1 Field Ambulance, New Zealand Expeditionary Force, Wellington. From E B B, Napier, 10 December 1917.

b) A booklet entitled: Facts about the Panama Canal. Includes the name of a ship, S S Westmorland which left Liverpool 28 February 1919 and arrived in Auckland 5 April 1919. Contains the names, numbers, and cities or towns of residence of some of the soldiers aboard, including Leo Bestall. Issued at the end of World War I.
